My little bean! I can't believe she is a year old now!!!


She gave us a bit of a fright this weekend...spiked a temp of 105.1, kept sleeping, acted as though in pain. Turns out the vaccine she had gotten the day before dind't mix well so yeah...vaccine reaction means no more FelV vaccine. The did it with a new air pressure system instead of needle and with that new method they react to more antigen, therefore potential for stronger vaccine reaction.

It really had me freaked out because something similar happened to my Thomas in 2004. I had him vaccinated and it caused his immune system to become hyperactive against the FIP that he had. Needless to say , I lost him after a few months...he was only 5 months old :(

I had pushed off getting Isabelle vaccinated because that sat fresh in my mind still...I was paranoid. She is doing better now though, still stiff/grumpy but no spiked temp. Anti-inflammatory helped her :)

We are glad she is better too...she is like a kid to us so it was a bit of a startle!

Thank you!! I am still learning my camera so I had to fight with it a little bit to get results, but that's just the learning process. I didn't want to use flash so it made it harder to get a clear picture with enough light hehe

Cats needs only one or two vaccine in their whole life, like us. My cat had a cancer for the vaccine, and now i risk to lose her. Actually she had surgery and she's OK, but she needs to have no cancer until september 9 2010 for being sure she is tumor free.
